There are no feature tiers. A licence is valid or it is not, and every licence covers personal and commercial use. Try the app for 14 days first, without an account or a card. ownpaas is not released and not on sale yet; these are the planned prices.

Prices in euros include VAT where it applies; outside the EU the same numbers are in dollars, plus applicable sales tax. Paddle.com will be our reseller and merchant of record: it handles payment, VAT and the invoice.
What every licence includes
Section titled “What every licence includes”- The whole app: the lab, Kubernetes clusters (Preview), the agent integration, reset and checkpoints, the gateway and Move to Cloud, as they ship.
- Updates for as long as the licence is valid.
- Up to 3 Macs per licence, for example a desk Mac, a laptop and a spare.
- Support by email.
What the licence does not include: the costs of your own cloud account. The gateway and anything you move to the cloud run in your account and are billed by your cloud provider. PaaSbox Clusters, which keeps a k3s cluster in your own Hetzner project current, is a separate service at a planned €29 per cluster per month, incl. VAT, on paasbox.com; it is not bookable yet.
Buying and paying
Section titled “Buying and paying”ownpaas will be sold through Paddle.com (paddle.com), our reseller and merchant of record: Paddle takes the payment, handles VAT and sends the invoice, and its buyer terms apply to the purchase. Businesses can enter their VAT ID at checkout.
A licence key comes with the purchase. It activates the app on up to 3 Macs; Deactivate in the app’s settings frees a Mac for another one. The app checks the licence once a week and keeps working 30 days without a connection. It sends licence data only, and there is no telemetry.
14-day money-back guarantee on the first payment for a licence and on yearly renewals: the full amount, no reason needed. Ask through Paddle’s receipt email or at support@mitjamartini.com; see the refund policy. Monthly renewals are not refunded; cancel before the next one instead.
When the trial or the licence ends
Section titled “When the trial or the licence ends”Labs you already have keep running: start, stop, reset, restore and the MCP server keep working, so nobody loses work or a running demo. Creating new projects, new clusters and Move to Cloud stop until a licence is active again. The details are in the licensing FAQ.
On a server, in your cloud, or as a training
Section titled “On a server, in your cloud, or as a training”ownpaas can run on a Linux server or in your company’s cloud account for a team, and it can run the labs for a training class. These are contracts, not licence keys, and are quoted individually. Call me with what you have in mind.
