Refunds

ownpaas is not on sale yet. This page says how refunds will work once it is.

ownpaas licences are sold by our reseller Paddle.com, the merchant of record for all our orders. Paddle takes the payment, issues the invoice and pays out every refund. This page says when you get your money back.

Before you buy

The app has a free 14-day trial with every feature, without an account or a card. Please use it to check that ownpaas works on your Mac and for your setup before you buy.

14-day money-back guarantee

If ownpaas is not for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of:

• the first payment for a licence, monthly or yearly (the founding-member year included), or
• the renewal of a yearly licence.

You get the full amount of that payment back, with no reason needed. The licence then ends when the refund is issued; labs you already have keep running, as after any licence (licensing FAQ).

Monthly renewals are not refunded. Cancel before the next renewal instead; see below.

Cancelling

You can cancel a yearly or monthly licence at any time. A cancelled licence stays valid until the end of the period you paid for and is not renewed after that. Time left in a paid period is not refunded, except under the money-back guarantee above.

Your statutory rights

If you are a consumer in the EU, the EEA, Switzerland or the UK, you also have the statutory right of withdrawal described in Paddle’s buyer terms and Paddle’s refund policy. This policy adds to those rights; it never limits them.

How to ask for a refund

• Use the link in the receipt email from Paddle, or look up the order at paddle.net, or
• write to support@mitjamartini.com with the email address you paid with.

Refunds go back to the original payment method, normally within 14 days of approval. The licence ends when the refund is issued.
